Alessandro Leonardi is an architect working across design, research, and scenography. He focuses on how space shapes human experience, memory, and care.
He graduated with honors from IUAV University of Venice, where his thesis Community Houses received the Gregotti Award and the Grenfellove Prize. His projects explore proximity, collective care, and the spatial qualities of everyday life.
Collaborating with architectural and engineering firms, he has worked on international projects as a design manager. Since 2024 he has been a teaching assistant at IUAV in architectural design and has been a finalist in several architecture competitions. At the same time, he has developed his experience in stage design, reaching the final of Biennale College Teatro 2025 and participating in other theatre productions, in particular with Accademia Silvio D’Amico. After graduation, he began developing residential projects in Sardinia, rediscovering local construction values and connecting practical experience with narrative dimension.
