Alessandro Leonardi is an architect based in Italy. He graduated with honours from the IUAV University of Venice, where his thesis Community Houses received the Gregotti Award and the Grenfellove Prize.
His practice spans residential architecture, adaptive reuse and scenography, combining professional practice with academic research. Alongside his independent work, he collaborates on international architectural projects and has been a teaching assistant in architectural design at IUAV since 2024. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the IUAV University of Venice.
His work in Sardinia explores the relationship between contemporary architecture, local building traditions and the identity of the territory.
